The investigation regarding a local doctor who was robbed at his home on May 29, 2017, in Ruby Gailey Drive is still ongoing by police. According to police no arrests have been made as yet.
The doctor was alone at home when he was taken by surprise by the three intruders.
The robbers used a pipe to hit the doctor on the head and legs, forcing him to drop to the floor.

They then ransacked the house, stealing a plasma TV and other electrical appliances. After taking what they wanted, the robbers fled the scene.
Police and other emergency personnel were informed, and the doctor was privately taken to hospital for treatment.
