Vryheid Tourism – Tourism attractions in Vryheid
MEMBERS of Vryheid Tourism recently met to discuss issues pertaining to tourism in the region.
MEMBERS of Vryheid Tourism recently met at Klets Café to discuss relevant issues pertaining to tourism in the region and enjoy presentations regarding the tourist attractions in AbaQulusi.
Gustav Röhrs opened the meeting with a scripture reading and the formalities were addressed, followed with presentations by Chairman of Vryheid Tourism, Dons Grobler, who discussed the Bloodriver Monument tourist attraction just outside Vryheid.

Gustav Röhrs shared his report on the Battlefields Route 66, a very popular attraction to the area which included a slide show of the various sites along the route.
Well-known personality in the tourism field, Wilfred Mchunu, discussed his recent qualifications and his passion for tourism. Mchunu scored a whopping 89% in his recent Field Guide exam and is eager to encourage tourists to learn more about our beautiful area.
Gooderson Leisure Natal Spa recently acquired a new manager and he has his sights set high when it comes to customer service for visitors to the popular resort. Francois Roux discussed his plans for the future of Natal Spa and welcomed the advice and expertise of his fellow Vryheid Tourism members as he took to the floor for his presentation.

AbaQulusi Municipality’s Lindiwe Ntshangase addressed those in attendance and discussed the importance of business licences in the industry, encouraging business licence holders to report illegally operating businesses to the relevant department in order to maintain the standard that AbaQulusi has become so well-known for.

The meeting concluded with a delicious lunch, provided by Klets Café.
