Cake sale raises funds for Hospice

The cake sale is held once every two months as a fundraising effort

Enticing smells of home-baked goodies hung in the air in front of the Hospice Charity Shop in Victoria Street as volunteers and committee members held a cake sale. Passers-by where lured into the Methodist Church Yard on Friday.

Pretty cupcakes, fudge, muffins of all sorts and cakes are a few of the many yummy goodies that were displayed for sale. The cake sale is held once every two months as a fundraising effort.

All proceeds raised go towards the Estcourt Hospice Association.

You can also visit the Estcourt Hospice Charity Shop between Monday and Saturday, as your purchase will also assist in raising much needed funds for Hospice to offer free palliative care to patients and their family members suffering chronic or life-threatening illnesses.

If you unfortunately missed out save the date, September 29 to avoid disappointment.
