Igniting the flame of faith at special Bible study picnic
Worship, prayer and fellowship with blankets spread out and Bibles open.
While Volksrust High School’s culture teams were preparing to take the stage last Thursday (August 13), the IGNITE group took to the grass and open skies for a beautiful moment of spiritual upliftment.
Marietjie Steyn of Volksrust High School said IGNITE hosted a Bible study picnic on the school grounds.
A moment of faith and fellowship
“With blankets spread out and Bibles open, learners gathered for worship, prayer and the Word; surrounded by sunshine and community,” she said.
No microphones and no spotlights; just hearts open to God and to each other. In the middle of a busy week, IGNITE reminded the school of what truly matters: growing together in faith.
“Thank you to everyone who joined and made the picnic such a special time. While we prepared to take that stage, IGNITE prepared our hearts,” concluded Steyn.
