Taxi crashes through light pole and overturns in Centenary Road, Ladysmith
Ladysmith K9 officers, Public Safety, emergency personnel and towing services responded to the scene
A taxi crashed this morning (August 6) in Centenary Road.
The vehicle was travelling down the road towards Smartiesville at the time.
The exact cause of the crash is unknown at this stage.
The taxi careened through a light pole and overturned in Cactus Road, which joins Centenary Road and Azalea Drive.

Only the driver was in the taxi.
Ladysmith K9 officers, Public Safety, emergency personnel and towing services responded to the scene.
Electricity Department employees also responded to work on the broken light pole.
The taxi was towed away from the scene.
