UPDATE: Missing Wembezi man found dead

Mr Majola was found dead, from natural causes, lying in a bush close to a new housing development in Esigodlweni

Shortly after the Estcourt News hit the streets on Thursday, the Majola family received a dreaded call. Via the newspaper, the family sent an appeal to the community to be on the lookout for their 68-year-old father, Dumisani Majola.

He had left his home in Wembezi on July 24 and did not return. The family hoped that they would receive information about his whereabouts and they did…

Unfortunately Mr Majola was found dead, from natural causes, lying in a bush close to a new housing development in Esigodlweni.

Sibusiso Majola, the deceased’s man son, said that he received a telephone call from a paramedic to inform him that they had recovered a body of a man who fit the description of his missing father.

“While it is difficult to come to terms with my father’s passing, we are grateful that we have his body,” he said.

Mr Majola further conveyed his appreciation to the Estcourt News, the community of Esigodlweni for reporting seeing his body to the police and Mr BV Mlangeni from the Emergency Rescue Service for informing the family.
