2 trucks collide just outside Ladysmith
Traffic flow was obstructed, as one lane was closed due to the trucks being on the road
Two trucks were involved in a crash yesterday (August 29) on the Colenso / Pieters road.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this stage.
Both trucks were travelling away from Ladysmith towards Colenso when the collision took place.
One of the trucks’ diesel tanks burst due to the crash, leaving the flammable liquid spraying all over the roadway.

Emergency personnel, police, RTI and towing services responded to the scene.
Traffic flow was obstructed, as one lane was closed due to the trucks being on the road. Traffic passed the scene using a single lane.
Luckily, the truck drivers were not seriously injured.
