Painting the town purple

The Relay will kick off at the Forderville Primary School Athletic Track on September 2 at 10am and end the next day

With less than a week to go before the ninth CanSA Relay for Life, the organisers together with the support group, cancer survivors, a team, family and friends gathered at Spar for a Purple Walk on Sunday.

Dressed in the colour of power, the attendees got ready to take to the central business district (CBD) to raise awareness and invite locals to attend the CanSA Relay.

Holding up banners with various messages they were led by the ‘hope auto truck’ around town. The walkers were all thanked for their interest shown and participation.

The Relay will kick off at the Forderville Primary School Athletic Track on September 2 at 10am and end the next day at 10am. Be sure not to miss it!
