Liquid love in Ladysmith this September
Adopting a unifying concept of ‘Liquid Love’, donors are encouraged to come through in their numbers so the SANBS are able to meet the demand of 3000 units of blood a day

To avoid blood shortages this September, the South African National Blood Service (SANBS), in conjunction with the Satya Sai Organisation, will be hosting a blood drive on September 17 from 10am to 4pm. This will take place at the Ladysmith Blood Donor Clinic, San Marco Centre.
Adopting a unifying concept of ‘Liquid Love’, donors are encouraged to come through in their numbers so the SANBS are able to meet the demand of 3000 units of blood a day.
Support blood donation by donating blood and/or encouraging others to do so.
To become a blood donor, you would need to be:
- between the ages of 16 and 65 years old;
- weigh a minimum of 50kg;
- be in general good health;
- live a sexually safe lifestyle. You must have had a good meal within 4 hours of donating.
Remember… YOUR BLOOD SAVES LIVES.
