FT Mdlalose Foundation hosts a fitness 5 kilometre fun walk

This year the event also introduced aerobics as an activity for all to participate.

The Doctor FT Mdlalose Foundation hosted its annual 5 kilometre fun run and walk on September 3.

Young and old attended this community building event which promoted the notion of living a healthy active life regardless of age.

This year the event also introduced aerobics as an activity for all to participate.

The youngest participant was 9 years old and the oldest was a 78-year-old woman, this proved that one is never too young nor old to exercise.

The Foundation thank its partnership sponsors Mortimer Toyota, North city, Winners Sport, Jack Fortune business solutions and the Department of Sport and Recreation for its contributions in making the event a success.

“We also thank the Madadeni SAPS and Disaster Management for their assistance in making the event a safe affair. Event organisers plan to make next year’s 5km walk even bigger and better,” said Foundation Manager, Sbusiso Cebekhulu
