Areas in Ladysmith left without water due to restrictions

Residents were affected yesterday and again today

Reports are that residents in certain areas of Ladysmith do not have water.

Social media reports indicate that areas in and around Hyde Park as well as Philip Frame Road do not have water.

Residents were affected yesterday (September 30) and again today (October 1).

It has been reported that water restrictions are the cause of the “dry taps” in the affected areas.

Residents need to make sure they are prepared for days like these, storing water in case of an emergency.

Residents throughout town are urged to use water sparingly, as Ladysmith is still experiencing drought conditions.
