Once again reaching the hearts of the Ladysmith community

This time around, the passionate team distributed 50 lunch packs to students at Makhoya Primary School based in St Chad’s

Wednesday (September 27) once again saw Project Cornerstone co-ordinator Mr K Bihaspat reaching out to the hearts of communities in dire need. Project Cornerstone is a community-driven outreach programme supported by the Royal Hotel and evangelist Matthew Lee.

This time around, the passionate team distributed 50 lunch packs – consisting of a sandwich (assorted filling), fruit juice and a piece of fruit – to students at Makhoya Primary School based in St Chad’s.

Mr Bihaspat delivered a powerful speech entitled ‘Growing as a teenager with God’s Wisdom’.

He emphasised the following point: “Do not let any part of your body become a tool of wickedness, to be used for sinning. Instead, give yourself completely to God… as a tool to do what is right for the glory of God.”

The message also taught the students that when we’re disciplined and obedient and follow God’s will, we will be successful in God’s eyes.

If any individual or business would like to make a contribution to Project Cornerstone, please visit reception at the Royal Hotel or contact Mr Bihaspat on 0366330218 after 3pm.

Remember: “No person was ever honoured for what he received, but he was honoured for what he gave”. Don’t procrastinate, rather donate to Project Cornerstone.

Thought for the week. “Stand true to what you believe. Be courageous. Be Strong” (1 Corinthians 16:13)
