UPDATE: No vehicle involved in biking crash

New information has come to light which shows that no other vehicle was involved in the terrible crash that claimed the life of Yolandi Steenkamp and injured her fiancé, Bertus Meyer.

It was originally believed that a car swerved in front of the bike, causing the couple to crash on the Wasbank road.

However, it has now been confirmed that there was no other vehicle. The cause of the crash remains unknown.

Yolandi was killed instantly while Bertus suffered a broken leg as well as sustained injuries to his hands and shoulders.
