Cannibalism case: Suspects back in the dock tomorrow

The men appeared in court on September 28 where they were remanded in custody until October 12

The seven men charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder will line up in the dock at the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.

Nino Mbatha, Sithembiso Sithole, Lindokuhle Masondo, Lungisani Magubane, Khayelihle Lamula, Wiseman Madlala and Sazi Ndlovu were arrested after the remains of a female were found in a home in Rensburgdrift in August.

Legal Aid representative for the accused, Ms Hadebe told the court that she had made a request for a practitioner from the High Court to consult with one of the accused about a possible plea.
