A man was shot multiple times this evening (October 13) at the Pieters / Ezakheni four-way stop.
The motive for the shooting is unclear at this stage.
The man was walking in the road when the shooting took place.
Three men are said to have approached him and opened fire.
The man sustained multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body.
He sought cover at a shop near the four-way stop.

Paramedics treated the man on scene and transported him to hospital for further medical attention.
The gunshot victim is currently in a serious condition.
