The two people who were shot dead on the N11 on October 5 have been identified as 37-year-old Sifiso Mbongwa and 21-year-old Sthabiso Wonderboy.
A vehicle with three occupants was travelling along the N11 in the Elandslaagte area when gunmen opened fire on the vehicle.
Two of the occupants were killed, while a third was injured and managed to flee.

A 46-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
He is set to appear in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court today (October 18).
