Angels reach out at Vryheid Hospital

HiS Caring Angels handed out 41 parcels to mothers at the Pre-natal, baby, and post-natal wards at Vryheid Hospital.

AN Outreach project took place at Vryheid Provincial Hospital on October 17, where HiS Caring Angels handed out 41 parcels to mothers at the Pre-natal, baby, and post-natal wards.

“It was really a successful day and the mommies were so happy receiving parcels from the Caring Angels,” writes Peggy Beetge..

“We spent some time with them and learned a lot from their experiences, as well as sharing their cares and fears. There was a dad and he was so proud showing his little one to us. Moms were also proud showing their little precious babies to us. They even allowed us to hold and cuddle their little ones and share in their joy and pride.”

Peggy Beetge hands over a care parcel to the mother of the quadruplets.

The mother who gave birth to quadruplets at Vryheid Hospital several weeks ago was also among the recipients of baby care parcels and also received an extra parcel for her 2-year-old daughter back at home.

There were also a few twins to be spoiled, and the (gogos) oumas present did not hesitate to take part in the opportunity.

“We Caring Angels would like to thank each and every person involved in our project, by donating and sharing items towards the project, to enable us to make these ‘Reach Outs’ possible. Without the donations and gifts, we would not be able to bring such joy and pleasure to other persons in need.”

I also would like to thank every Caring Angel involved, especially those working behind the scenes. Your input is as valued and appreciated as is the contributions of all members directly involved.”

“Our main object is to serve our community but we appreciate any suggestions to other ‘Reach Outs’.”

This proud father declined to give his name to the Caring Angels as he stated that his friends would know who he is.
