“He was so full of life and loved being in the outdoors. He was the type of person who, if he put is mind to something, would not stop until he achieved it."
Unfortunately for the Booyse family, that heartache came too soon as they get ready to say a final farewell to their beloved son and brother, Renco.
Renco tragically passed away at the age of 25, while working on a farm in Kansas in the United States.
According to sources, it is believed Renco climbed or leaned on the trailer part of a 1973 10-wheeler Ford truck on Thursday, October 19.
In the process, he is believed to have accidentally bumped a switch, disengaging the hydraulics of the tipping part which then fell on him.
Renco’s father, Ampie Booyse described his son as a vibrant, friendly go-getter, who had an avid passion for deep sea fishing.
“He was so full of life and loved being in the outdoors. He was the type of person who, if he put is mind to something, would not stop until he achieved it. He was a soulful person whose presence was felt whenever he entered a room. He was the type of person who could get along with anyone, and always made friends wherever he went.”
Our prayers are with the Booyse family, friends and colleagues at this difficult time.
