Vehicles crash outside Ladysmith, leaving female passenger injured

1 of the vehicles was travelling towards Ezakheni and the other into town when the collision took place

A Renault Stepway and a bakkie collided on Tuesday morning (November 7) in Protea Drive.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this stage. What is known is that one of the vehicles was travelling towards Ezakheni and the other into town when the collision took place.

A woman travelling in one of the vehicles was injured.

Public Safety, emergency personnel, police and towing services responded to the scene.

The injured lady was stabilised at the scene and taken to hospital for further medical treatment.

Traffic passed the scene with caution until the vehicles were towed away.
