SANBS Special Summer Promotion

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) stands for giving life and giving lifetimes to millions of South Africans. The SANBS would like to acknowledge the ordinary South Africans who selflessly give the gift of life to strangers. Visit a donor centre or a community blood drive, and donate when we come to your workplace or during December when we are at the various shopping malls.

To become a safe, regular donor:

• You need to weigh 50kg and more
• Be between the ages of 16 and 65
• Lead a sexually safe lifestyle
• Be in good health on the day of your donation
• Have a meal prior to donating
