Cold weather expected to hit parts of SA

There is also the possibility of snow in some areas of KZN tomorrow

South Africans can expect a cold snap to affect most parts of the country from the middle of this week onwards.

According to the South African Weather Service, maximum temperatures of 19 degrees Celsius and below are forecast for southern parts of the Western Cape, while KZN can expect colder temperatures.

On Thursday, temperatures in the single digits are expected to hit KZN. Dundee is predicted to reach only 7 degrees tomorrow.

There is also the possibility of snow in some areas of KZN tomorrow.

The South African Weather Service has urged small stock farmers to take preemptive measures in order to protect their livestock during this unseasonal cold snap.

There is also widespread rainfall expected for many parts of the country.
