WEATHER UPDATE: Parts of KZN transformed into a winter wonderland
Most of Lesotho, Sani Pass, the Drakensberg mountains and Underberg were covered in snow as temperatures dropped to zero degrees Celsius.

While Newcastle experienced some much-needed rainfall on Wednesday, parts of KwaZulu-Natal received a blanket of snow in the early morning.

Newcastillians unfortunately couldn’t experience this winter wonderland, but received the icy chill instead.
