Blood donors get giving

The SANBS nursing staff and Blood Clinic Co-ordinator Mr SM Dawoonarain would like to thank all who generously made a blood donation

Blood donors helped replenish the low blood stocks that the South African National Blood Service is currently experiencing.

On Thursday the team stopped at the Estcourt Town Hall where a target of 60 pints of blood was set. Thursday’s clinic fell short by just four pints of blood, 56 pints were collected.

Grace Ramsamooj made a contribution to this worthy cause.

73 people attended the blood clinic and three of them were welcomed as new blood buddies. The SANBS nursing staff and Blood Clinic Co-ordinator Mr SM Dawoonarain would like to thank all who generously made a blood donation.

Mthobisi Khumalo was welcomed as a new blood buddy at the monthly blood clinic.

Remember the next and also last blood clinic for the year will be held at the town hall on December 14.
