Goodie bags for the elderly at Shepstone Place

Visits were made to the frail and non-frail elders residing at the home and upon distributing the hampers warm smiles, hugs and handshakes of gratitude were received

Generous members of the community got together and parcelled goodie hampers for the elderly at Shepstone Place Home for the Aged last Thursday.

The goodie bags contained pamper products and a sweet treat for each member of the home.

One elderly lady was heard saying: “Thank you very much, we cannot write everyone letters, so please pass our thanks on.”

Visits were made to the frail and non-frail elders residing at the home and upon distributing the hampers warm smiles, hugs and handshakes of gratitude were received.

The elderly in the frail care excitedly dig straight into their gift bags.
