Have you been wondering when Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality will embark in earnest on their pothole repair programme? So have we.
The rainfall in the past month has seen potholes and fissures deepen and grow. Frustrating for drivers and dangerous for pedestrians.
In some areas, like Hibiscus Avenue, Twelfth Street and Oliver Cooke Avenue the conditions of the road is worsening, with dozens of potholes, deep cracks and the tarred surface washed away.

At the end of November, the Estcourt News sent a media inquiry to the local municipality to provide direction about their pothole repair plan.

No official response has been received but municipal teams have been seen repairing the roads in Harding Street, at the intersection of Alexandra and Harding streets and at the intersection of Connor and Albert streets.
