The Sihle Mbongwa Region comrades say that they are against corruption and fraud within the municipality

Soldiers and their commanders belonging to the Umkhonto weSizwe (MK) of the Sihle Mbongwa Region, dressed in camouflage, marched peacefully through the Central Business District earlier today.

The Military Veterans marched from Princess Park to the Municipal Building in Victoria Street where the Regional Commander presented a memorandum to the Municipal Manager of Inkosi Langalibalele Municipality, Mr PS Mkhize.

The MK was the armed wing of the African National Congress (ANC), co-founded by Nelson Mandela in the wake of the Sharpeville massacre back in 1961.
