Good deed turns bad as teen dies in crash
Police said he woke up at around 11pm and realised both Johan and his Nissan X-Trail were gone.

A good turn by a kindly man turned tragic when the youngster he helped made off in his vehicle which he then crashed, killing himself in the process.
Glencoe Police said a young man, named Johan Goeiman (15) , arrived at the Hide and Skins factory in the Glencoe industrial area last Thursday and asked to use the toilet. The man working there, identified by police as Mr Moolman, agreed. He asked for food and the two started talking. Johan was hitching from Brits in North West to see his father in Ladysmith.
However, he had family in Glencoe and could stay over with them before travelling on. Mr Moolman agreed to let him come to his house on Kemp Street before he visited his family.
They had coffee after which Mr Moolman apparently fell asleep. Police said he woke up at around 11pm and realised both Johan and his Nissan X-Trail were gone.
He asked the neighbours if they had seen anything and informed the police.
The following morning when there was still no sign of Johan or his vehicle and realising that he had not visited his relatives, Mr Moolman opened a charge of theft of a motor vehicle.
It was later reported to the Wasbank Police that there had been an accident on the Wasbank-Glencoe road in the vicinity of the Marie Ratchitz turn off. Johan’s body was found flung out of the car and he was pronounced dead.
