Mayor thanks local business for investing in Dundee

A hub of entertainment in Dundee's CBD today

Mayor Richard Mbatha this morning paid tribute to local businessman, George Adalis, on the relaunch of the new-look Charlies Super Spar which has also coincided with the 50th anniversary of Spar in Dundee.

“A business like Spar in Dundee does much to invest in our town and Mr Adalis is always there to assist the needy in times of disaster with food parcels and more. We must all join together to eradicate poverty in our area and by supporting our local businesses we will be taking steps to do this.”

A huge birthday cake was cut and shoppers offered tea and cake. The parking lot is a hive of activity with entertainment for children and lots to do and see.  Pop around and join the buzz.
