Municipality ‘vacancy scam’ doing the rounds on social media in Estcourt

The posts circulating on social media were published last year (2017) in the Estcourt and Midlands News as well as Ilanga newspapers

Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality wishes to warn the public to beware of the current ‘vacancies scam’ doing its rounds.

WhatsApp and Facebook posts have been circulated advertising various vacant posts within the municipality.
Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality “distances itself from the distorted information distributed in its name and would like to correct this misleading advert.”

The posts circulating on social media were published last year (2017) in the Estcourt and Midlands News as well as Ilanga newspapers. The closing date was on the April 28, 2017 and not 2018.

The municipality advises the public that, this year 2018, no advert of any sort has been published. They further wish to stress that no one should make any attempt to respond and also apologises for any inconvenience caused.
