In response to the concerns the Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality’s Communication Officer, Zodwa Ngubeni said: “The issue of Bank Road Cemetery is included on the assessment report that we have done for all municipal cemeteries to identify its functional challenges and to come up with a plan to rectify it.”
The assessment report entails a plan, which will rectify issues such as vandalism, cutting of grass, cleaning of cemetery sites, access roads, etc.
The resident made mention of the huge potholes on the uneven gravel road, long grass as well as the dumped domestic waste and building rubble.
