PREVIEW: Durnacol sewage troubles create a stink

With troubles rising with the Durnacol sewage system, residents are concerned with the health implications.

Trouble is bubbling up in the Durnacol sewage system.

Resident, Sid Price is fuming after blockages in a main line from Tagore Village resulted in his garden being flooded with sewage multiple times.

He said this happened six times in the space of a year.

With no remedial action by authorities, Price is well and truly fed up.

“The sewage flows right by the bedroom windows; it’s an awful stench.”

It was March 23 this year when Price contacted the Dannhauser municipality via letter.

That letter related to a river of sewage which again gushed across his property.
