Young boy dies in tragic crash on Bergville road

The life of a young boy was tragically lost today (April 27) in a crash on the R616 (Bergville road).

The cause of the crash is unknown at this stage.

It is believed that the driver of a Hyundai i20 lost control and the car rolled.

A boy, who is believed to be around six years old, was declared dead at the scene.

Three people sustained moderate injuries.

Emergency personnel and towing services responded to the scene.
