Estcourt senior citizens celebrate turning a year older

They were surrounded by good wishes from their fellow club members as everyone waited to tuck into a delicious lunch and birthday cake afterward

Celebrating a birthday for Estcourt Senior Citizens Club members is a special time at their meetings.

A birthday cake, candles and a song signifies the commemoration of another year for the members.

At Wednesday’s meeting, seven members were treated to a min-birthday party. In February and March Mrs Naidoo, Mrs Ramwater, Mrs Jogi and Mrs Rammey celebrated their birthdays and in April Mr Naidoo, Mrs P Ramkelowan and Mrs Maharaj turned a year older.

The Estcourt Senior Citizens Club will be going on an outing to Durban on May 27. The day trip will include visiting the Vishnu Temple (Hanuman statue) in Chatsworth, the new Cornubia Mall, Gateway and Sibaya Casino.
