Motorists travelling along the N3 northbound will be relieved to know that this portion of the N3 is now open.

This comes after protestors burnt and damaged 35 trucks on the N3 last night. This morning a massive clean-up operation ensued.

54 people have been arrested and will appear in the Mooi River Magistrate’s Court today on charges of public violence.
