Dumping has taken over an area of Surat Road, where one can find anything from rubbish to clothing lying all over the place.
Smoke also fills the air, as dead fires can be spotted where rubbish bags have been burnt.

Residents feel this is a serious issue, as the illegal dumping and the burning of rubbish poses a health risk for many in the area.
“It’s a health hazard and I’m not sure what we can do,” a concerned resident stated.
The municipality has not yet commented on this matter.
