Helping the Ladysmith community once again

These projects bring great contentment to those involved, as the gift of giving is a gift itself

Friday once again saw co-ordinator Mr K Bihaspat and the team from Project Cornerstone, together with evangelist Matthew Lee, make their way to the heart of needy communities.

This time, the passionate team visited the Ezakheni C-Section Clinic. The team engaged in a praise and worship session with patients present at the clinic. Songs of heartfelt worship and adoration were sung as the patients rejoiced and gave glory to God.

Evangelist Matthew Lee then took the platform to share a powerful and meaningful message to encourage and pray for the sick. The team also distributed informative booklets entitled ‘The way to God’ as resource material to enable patients to turn to Scripture in times of grief and hardship.

Thereafter, the team distributed creamy soup and bread to each patient, as well as interacted with the clinic staff while the meal was served.

The ambience at the clinic was dynamic and well received by all present.

One of the patients was so touched by the team’s visit and stated: “God can use medicine to heal us. We live by faith and not by sight.

“God is always behind the scenes, working. God is the best doctor. Trust God, for miracles do happen!”

These projects bring great contentment to those involved, as the gift of giving is a gift itself as they continue to remain anchored in Christ.
