2 injured as vehicle crashes and rolls down embankment on Van Reenen’s Pass

The injured were treated on scene and then taken to hospital

Two people were injured in a crash this morning (June 19) on Van Reenen’s Pass.

It is believed that the driver of the vehicle involved lost control due to the heavy wind.

The vehicle veered off the road before rolling down an embankment.

Two occupants in the vehicle sustained moderate injuries.

The injured were treated on scene and then taken to hospital for further medical attention.

Police, RTI and towing services responded.

The vehicle had to be towed away from the scene.
