Watch: Truck drivers protest on N3 at Van Reenen’s Pass (KZN)
A heavy police presence is in the area, along with RTI and N3TC
The N3 at Van Reenen’s Pass is closed due to over 100 trucks barricading the roadway.
The demands of the protesting truck drivers are now known.
They are demanding that the Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Transport come down to address their issues and give a date as to when foreign drivers will leave the country.

The chanting of protest songs and hooters blaring can be heard echoing along the N3 near Van Reenen.
Another demand is that they have an NBCR consultant.
The protest is still ongoing and is not violent, but authorities warn motorists to stay away from the area.
