Watch: uThukela workers throw excrement at municipal offices and on managers’ vehicles during strike

Faeces was loaded onto the back of uThukela trucks

uThukela workers who were striking due to a wage dispute went so far as to throw faeces at the uThukela Municipality offices today (June 27).

The workers also made use of TLBs to break through the gates and even a wall at the entrance to the premises in Forbes Street.

Faeces was loaded onto the back of the uThukela trucks and even onto bakkies.

Some managers’ vehicles were seen covered in brown streaks as they left the premises.

A stench lingered in the air due to the large amount of excrement that was off-loaded on the doorstep of the offices.
