2 vehicles collide in Poort Road, delaying traffic flow

The vehicles had to be towed away from the scene

Two vehicles collided yesterday morning (June 28) in Poort Road.

It is believed that a VW Golf and a Mazda crashed near the stop street in Poort Road, at the intersection of Berea and Poort Road.

The exact cause of the crash is unknown at this stage.

Luckily, none of the occupants were injured.

The vehicles had to be towed away from the scene.

Public Safety, emergency personnel and towing services responded.

Traffic flow in Poort Road was delayed until the scene was cleared.
