JUST IN: Sassa grant delays cause upset – here’s what you need to know

Information from SASSA stated that a delay of three days was expected before withdrawals could be made.

The recent difficulties with Sassa grant payouts has left grant beneficiaries in Newcastle disgruntled.

According to sources at Sassa Newcastle Offices an email was circulated from the Acting CEO and head of communications on Monday (July 2).

Information in the said email stated a delay of three days was expected before withdrawals could be made.

By tomorrow (July 6) grant recipients can expect their payouts to be accessible.
