Update: Child killed after caravan catches fire near Ladysmith

Deepest condolences to the family of the deceased

It is alleged that a gas stove in the caravan exploded, which tragically killed the child and injured many others on Monday afternoon (July 2) in Ezakheni D-Section.

It is believed that there is a church event in the area for a week, where members are living in caravans.

When the fire broke out, concerned residents pulled the caravan out of the church premises and began dousing the flames.
