CRIME: Stolen vehicle recovered by Amajuba Cluster Task Team

The Amajuba Cluster Task Team successfully recovered a stolen vehicle on July 2, abandoned in Newtown Town Ship, just outside oSizweni.
According to Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications and Liaison Officer, Captain Jabulani Ncube, the vehicle was stolen during a hijacking on July 1.
“The victim was severely assaulted and had to be taken to Madadeni Provincial Hospital to receive medical attention.”
Although no one has been arrested in connection with the hijacking, Capt. Ncube said further police investigations would continue.
