Results of the Durban July #VDJ2018
The Vodacom Durban July is SA’s premier horse racing event and offers a prize purse of R4.25 million
The top three positions in this year’s Vodacom Durban July have been scooped by trainer Justin Snaith’s horses.
‘Do It Again’ (No. 8) won the 2018 Vodacom Durban July, ridden by Anton Marcus.
In second place was ‘Made to Conquer’ (No. 15), ridden by Jeffrey Lloyd, and in third place was ‘Elusive Silva’ (No. 5), ridden by B Fayderbe. Fourth place went to ‘Majestic Mambo’ (No. 9), ridden by Callan Murray.

The favourite coming into the July, ‘African Night Sky’ (No. 4), finished in fifth place.
Trainer Justin Snaith had five horses running in the July, and three of the five secured the top positions.

The Vodacom Durban July is South Africa’s premier horse racing event and offers a prize purse of R4.25 million, of which the winner receives R2.5 million. Second place earns R800,000, third R400,000, fourth R200,000 and R50,000 for fifth.
