1 killed, 3 injured in tragic hit and run incident

Vryheid SAPS, KZN Private Ambulance and Vryheid Neighbourhood Watch responded, attending to the injured and controlling traffic along the busy road near Lakeside, where the lifeless body of one of the victims lay beneath the foil blanket in the middle of the road, a stark indication of the tragedy that had unfolded mere minutes before.

Of the four victims of this shocking incident, one was critically injured, two sustained minor injuries and one was declared deceased at the scene.
According to local law enforcement, the victims were all believed to be in their twenties.
