One person has died after a mini bus overturned on the R34, near Utrecht, earlier this afternoon (July 21).
“The passenger was flung from the vehicle, and he was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver escaped uninjured,” said Jan-Henk van Vuuren of WATCO Emergency Services.
It’s believed the vehicle was a part of a convoy for a funeral of a deceased taxi owner.
The exact circumstances surrounding the accident is still unclear at this stage, and will remain subject to police investigation.
