The day petrol heads have been looking forward to has finally arrived.

The Show Off Your Ride 12th Annual Car Show is taking place this weekend August 4, at the Home Affairs parking lot.

Make sure to grab your tickets as gates open at 2pm sharp.

Entry to the show is R50 per person and R30 for children under the age of 13.

Hosted by Autobarn Parts People and Team Supersonic, this year the event goes back to where it all started – the streets.

Here’s another exciting treat for you; one lucky winner stands the chance to bag an exclusive hamper prize worth R500 courtesy of Team Supersonic.

Here’s what you need to do:
1. Like the Newcastle Advertiser Instagram account @nnadv1 – (we’ll be checking.)
2. While you’re at the show, take a selfie with any one of your favourite cars.
3. Post your selfie on Instagram with the hashtag #ShowOffYourRide2018 and tag the Newcastle Advertiser @nnadv1 in it.
4. To qualify, all rules need to be adhered to.
5. The winner will be mentioned on Instagram – watch this space.
