The event will be held in Ladysmith on September 1 at the ML Sultan Primary School Hall. Sarvdasha will be strutting her stuff on the catwalk alongside girls from Newcastle, Glencoe, Dundee, Danhauser, Ladysmith and Pietermaritzburg and is excited at the prospect of representing Estcourt at this prestigious event.

“The overall preparation for the pageant is exhilarating, as I look forward to the thrilling experience of participating in such a prestigious pageant. I also look forward to building new friendships along this path,” she said.

Sarvdasha says she believes that the best anyone can do is be themselves and let their inner beauty shine.
Previously Estcourt has produced two titleholders, Ashayna Singh and Karishma Sewlal.

Miss India SA Regional Director Vimmi Ramdaas describes the competition as an ‘innovative leadership programme for women,’ substantiating that the young women are given the opportunity to showcase their talent, which forms part of their strong cultural heritage.

2018 marks the pageant’s 20th anniversary and the organisers are ready to dazzle the audience with an extraordinary show. For more information, sponsorships or information contact Mrs Ramdaas on 061 824 2864.
