Eid is a joyous day of celebration – a day of giving – and in this spirit, the Muslim community of Ladysmith did not forget those in need.

The points where the meal was distributed were: Al-Islamia Centre (Smartiesville), Steadville Islamic Centre, Meena Place playground, Darul Quran Masjid, Dawah Centre, Soofie Habibya Mosque and other areas.

“We are so glad for this kind gesture. We really enjoyed the food on the day. May God bless the givers,” said one of the thankful recipients who gathered to be fed on Eid-ul-Adha.
