Science week at Ichthus

Between popping balloons, high and low-pitched sounds, keeping a ping pong ball in the air with a hairdryer, colour changes, and many more, the Ichthus staff tried to awaken young minds to think and ask questions.

Between Language, Social and Natural Sciences, Mathematics lessons, the school play practices and athletics, Gr RR to Gr 7 Ichthus learners had a fun morning observing and participating in several Science experiments on August 29.
There were 7 stations set up in the hall, where each point was facilitated by a teacher. Learners moved from station to station where teachers caught the attention of the learners.
Mrs Viljoen, Principal of Ichthus, is very proud of her team of teachers who have developed a keen interest and expertise in scientific methods at Ichthus, preparing learners for life. Some learner’s mouths literally fell open when the beauty and amazing wonders of God’s creations were experienced.

The response of the learners is, as always, very appreciative and in awe. All the honour and glory to God!
